The man who allegedly hit and killed a jogger in Royersford March 4th was smoking pot and texting while driving. According to the Montgomery County DA, Justin Jackson is charged with homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence. The jogger, Melinda Thompson was pronounced dead at the scene after Jackson’s car crossed the road and hit her from behind.

A bomb threat was called into a Cabrini College dorm over the weekend and today, 18 year old Daniel Bowden, a student there, was arraigned in connection with the threat. The call went to a public phone in Woodcrest Hall claiming there was “a bomb in the building.” Bowden faces charges of terroristic threats among others.

The cost to attend University of Pennsylvania will go up next year. Tuition, fees and room and board will rise 3.9% to $58,812 for undergrads. At the same time, the school will also increase its financial aid programs 5% to $188 million for its all-grant, no-loan policy for eligible students.

Weather
Partly cloudy tonight. 29 in Center City.
