A 13-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with raping an 8-year-old girl in Delaware. The boy from Harrington, Kent County surrendered himself to Harrington Police on Thursday accompanied by his guardian. His identity has not been released because he is a juvenile. Police were contacted on August 28th by the state's Division of Family Services about a sexual assault that occurred in a Harrington home. Police began their investigation and determined that an assault did occur on one occasion. The teen is being charged with one count of Rape in the Second Degree in Juvenile court. He is being held at Stevenson House Juvenile Detention Facility in lieu of $5,000 secured bail.

A mistrial has been declared in the theft case against Gov. Corbett's ex-son-in-law. A Philadelphia jury could not reach a unanimous verdict on seven charges of theft, obstruction and receiving stolen property. 44-year-old fired city police officer Gerald Gibson is alleged to have taken $140 in bait money from a vehicle he believed belonged to a suspect during a FBI sting on January 31, 2013. His actions were caught on video. Gibson's defense argued that he planned to turn the money in at the end of his shift but was confronted before having that chance. The jury indicated it was hopelessly deadlocked after 5 hours of deliberation. The prosecution immediately asked for a new trial, which has been set for January 26th. Governor Corbett's daughter and Gibson divorced after his arrest.

A Police SUV slammed into the front of a Dunkin' Donuts store this morning in South Jersey. It happened around 10:30 a.m. on the 200 block of S. White Horse Pike in Berlin Township, Camden County. The Winslow Township officer was not responding to a call when he collided with another vehicle and then veered off the road and straight into the brick front of the building. The officer received some minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured as well as the patrons inside the store. The Dunkin' Donuts building sustained some structural damage. The accident is under investigation.

Tonight,
Partly Cloudy, temperatures falling through 60's this evening in Center City
