Philadelphia Police have released surveillance video in connection with a hit-and-run accident in Holmesburg last week that killed a women. On December 23rd, 33-year-old Theresa Pozzi was attempting to cross the street on the 8100 block of State Road when she was struck by an older model maybe Ford pickup truck. Pozzi was thrown in the air and the truck kept driving. She died at the hospital. The video was retrieved from a business on State Road. It captures the truck speeding away from the scene. Although it is grainy, police are hoping that someone might be able to help them identify the pickup truck. They believe the vehicle is from the 60's or 70's. Anyone with information is asked to call the Philadelphia Police tipline at 215.686.TIPS.

Three people were injured and 20 people have been displaced after a fire ripped through three row homes in Southwest Philadelphia on Friday evening. It started around 9:00 p.m. on the 2200 block of S. 68th Street. Heavy flames engulfed the homes as firefighters arrived. A 70-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman had to jump from the second floor to escape the fire. The 70-year-old man broke his femur in the fall. A third person was also injured. All three were taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The Red Cross is assisting 20 people who have been displaced by the fire. All three homes have been destroyed and power was out for 15 homes in the area. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Philadelphia Eagles have announced several changes to the front office – specifically the roles of Chip Kelly and Howie Roseman. Roseman has been promoted from General Manager to Executive Vice President of Football Operations. He will continue directing contract negotiations, salary cap management, and NFL strategic matters, while overseeing the team’s medical staff, equipment staff and more. Head Coach Chip Kelly will now oversee the player personnel department. He will also lead the efforts to hire a new personnel executive beginning immediately. "We are a good football team and we believe these steps will help make us a great team," said Eagles CEO Jeff Lurie. These changes come just days after the team parted ways with Tom Gamble who served as the Vice President of Player Personnel.
