Love Park Flying Saucer Fire; Philly Boxer in Porn Video; SEPTA's Papal Visit Bills Rise

The Fairmount Welcome Center that resembles a flying saucer in Love Park caught fire overnight. Fire crews were on the scene at about 3 a.m. Crews faced heavy smoke coming from the welcome center. Aided by sprinkler systems, the fire was placed under control in half an hour. The fire was primarily located in the basement area. No injuries were reported. An investigation is underway.

West Philly boxer Yusaf Mack was best known for his moves in the ring. Until he appeared in a porn video engaging in a threesome with two other men. Mack says he was drugged and doesn't remember being in the video. Mack is a father of 10 who claims he's known as a whoremonger and loves females. He says the only time he touches a man is when he is in the ring. Mack admits to agreeing to be in a heterosexual porn video because he needed the money. He travelled by train to New York City and entered an apartment where several naked women were walking around. They gave him a pill and a shot of vodka. The next thing he remembers is being back at 30th Street Station with $4500 in his pocket. The video (hosted on subscription site DawgPound USA) surfaced recently. (see photo below)

Transportation costs for the pope's September visit have gotten larger. SEPTA released its overtime costs associated with the papal tour of Philadelphia. $2.3 million in September, 2015 revenue. Ridership numbers for September across all its services was down 5 percent from September last year. Thatâ€™s about $500,000 in lost revenue. Add the cost of $1.6 million on expenses, and SEPTA's bill approaches $4 million.
