The Republican National Convention kicks off today in Cleveland, OH. Today's theme is 'Make America Safe Again.' The headline speakers include Melania Trump, Lieutenant General (ret.) Michael Flynn, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Jason Beardsley and U.S. Rep. Ryan Zinke (Mont.). Donald Trump will make an early appearance at the convention to introduce his wife. For the full list of speakers go to: http://convention.gop/ A bigger story is perhaps who won't be there including Pres. George H.W. Bush, Pres. George W. Bush, past Pres. Nominees Mitt Romney and John McCain, Ohio Gov. and pres candidate John Kasich, and more.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor will not be charged after an investigation into an alleged sexual assault at a South Philadelphia strip club. Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams announced that there was insufficient evidence to bring charges against Agholor. Both the District Attorney’s Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit and detectives from the Philadelphia Police Department’s Special Victims Unit investigated alleged incident. It occurred on June 9th, 2016 at Cheerleader's Gentlemen's Club on 2nd Street near Oregon Ave. The player was there following the final spring OTA practice.

SEPTA is continuing to monitor traffic on it's Regional Rail lines and is adjusting schedules to alleviate overcrowding during peak travel times. Some new schedules have been posted on SEPTA.org. SEPTA has leased 18 cars from Amtrak and Maryland and New Jersey transit agencies. On Monday, they leased another 5 cars from Maryland. Officials expect to continue to use the leased cars through at least August as their 120 sidelined Silverliner V cars are being repaired.

Tonight,
Scattered thunderstorms, temperatures in the mid 80s this evening in Center City
