Delta Stranding Passengers at PHL; Concerts at BBT Continue; Criminal Justice Center Reopens

Delta is beginning limited flights from Philadelphia amid a global computer shutdown. Still, thousands are stranded and cancellations, delays are ongoing. This is a statement from the airline: "A Delta ground stop has been lifted and limited departures are resuming following a power outage in Atlanta that impacted Delta computer systems and operations worldwide. Cancellations and delays continue. Earlier, Delta Air Lines grounded flights scheduled to leave Monday after experiencing unspecified issues with its computer systems globally.

Concerts continued as scheduled at Camden's BB&T Pavilion after a railing collapsed during Friday's Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa concert, injuring 42 people. The collapse occurred when the rappers were gesturing to fans to come toward the stage. As people rushed toward the railing, it collapsed and people fell about 10 feet to the concrete below. Saturday's "I Love the 90s" concert featuring Salt N Pepa, Vanilla Ice and other performers went on without problems. The pavilion was checked for damages and the railings were replaced temporarily, along with extra security added. The Criminal Justice Center reopened today after an elevator malfunction last week left two people hurt, one critically. The courthouse at 1301 Filbert St. is open during normal hours today. All jurors seated for trials, as well as witnesses, victims or defendants involved in trials already under way, were expected to report as scheduled.
