Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump was at the Union League in Philadelphia this morning where he announced his plans to increase military spending if elected. Trump called for the increase in active troops, as well as ships and planes, to grow our forces. Trump would also focus efforts on cyber defense and would give military leaders 30 days to come up with a plan to defeat ISIS. (watch Trump's address below) Outside of the invite only event, a few dozen protesters, supporters, and onlookers gathered at Broad and Samsom along with police and Secret Service. Both Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump will appear tonight on the NBC News and the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America: The Commander-in-Chief Forum live from New York City. They will appear separately, back-to-back, taking questions on national security, military affairs and veterans issues. It begins at 8 p.m. You can watch LIVE here:

Philadelphia Police are looking for a man who stole three pairs of Nike sneakers from a store in Chestnut Hill last week. It happened around 7 p.m. last Friday at the Chestnut Hill Sports store on the 8600 block of Germantown Avenue. The man entered the store and asked about sneakers. After spending several minutes in the store he grabbed three boxes of sneakers and fled on foot. He is described as a white male, 6' 1”, between 36-39 years of age, brown hair, wearing a light gray t-shirt, light brown cargo shorts, and carrying a dark colored backpack. He was caught on surveillance video inside the store. Anyone with information should contact Northwest Detective Division at 215-686-3353/3354.

Convicted former Pennsylvania attorney general Kathleen Kane has asked a judge to order her estranged husband to immediately pay her $1 million of around $6 million she contends she'll win in their divorce. She says she needs the partial distribution of their joint assets to pay for attorney fees as she prepares for sentencing and appeal of her perjury conviction. Kane contends that she is now unemployed and does not have any income except for the $19,000/month alimony and child support Christopher Kane pays for their two sons. Any advance on the divorce settlement would be credited. The petition says it should be in his interest for her to be well defended for their children's sake.

Tonight,
Mostly Clear, temperatures in the mid 80's this evening in Center City
