Pennsylvania State Troopers are currently searching for a suspect wanted in the shooting of a fellow trooper late Friday night in Huntindon County, Central Pennsylvania. The State Trooper was shot and killed at a home on Bakers Hollow Road in Hesson, Juniata Township around 6:30 p.m. while "investigating a domestic-related incident."

UPDATE: The suspect, Jason Robinson, has been shot and killed by police Saturday morning.

The manhunt is underway for 32-year-old Jason Robinson. He is considered armed and dangerous. It is believed that his hair is currently dyed purple. People in the area are being kept away from their homes and roads are closed. If you see the suspect or come into contact with him call 911.

The Pennsylvania State Police have identified the victim as Trooper Landon Weaver. He was assigned to the Patrol Unit at Troop G, Huntingdon barracks. Weaver enlisted in the Pennsylvania State Police in December of 2015. He is the 97th member of the Pennsylvania State Police to be killed in the line of duty.

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf released the following statement on Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Landon Weaver, who was shot and killed in the line of duty in Huntingdon County:

"On behalf of all Pennsylvanians, Frances and I extend our deepest condolences and prayers to the family and friends of Trooper Weaver and all members of the State Police across Pennsylvania in this moment of tragedy. Landon will always be remembered for his bravery, his sacrifice, and his willingness to serve."

"The State Police are our best and bravest Pennsylvanians, who risk their lives to keep all of our families safe. I just spoke with Commissioner Tyree Blocker and have full confidence that the person who committed this senseless act of violence will be captured and brought to justice. As the search continues, all of our law enforcement officers involved are in the thoughts of all Pennsylvanians."
