Police and US Marshals are now searching for a man who is wanted in the East Falls section of Philadelphia. 25-year-old Rashi Barnes is wanted by US Marshals for warrants from Pennsylvania State Police, Philadelphia Police, and Lower Moreland Police. Authorities arrived at Barnes' apartment on the 4000 block of Ridge Avenue in East Falls at 9 am on Wednesday. The Marshals tried to serve Barnes the warrant but he was able to get away. Police are offering a $1,000 reward for his capture, and they believe he is still in the East Falls area.

As the Philadelphia area is bracing for some substantial snow to hit the area, city officials warn residents to be cautious tonight and tomorrow. Officials say that the trash pickup for Thursday has been cancelled, and that the residents who usually have Thursday trash day are asked to hold their trash until next week. Trash collection is expected to resume on Friday, but residents should expect some delays. The Philadelphia Airport has stated that a number of flights are expected to be delayed or cancelled tomorrow, but passengers can change their flights on Wednesday with no occurring fees. The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has also stated that all of their schools in Philadelphia will be closed tomorrow. All School District of Philadelphia Schools and Administrative Offices are closed Thursday.

Philadelphia Police have now charged the man responsible for carjacking a cab and driving it through Rittenhouse Square before crashing it into a pole outside the park. 51-year-old Jonathan Gay has been charged in the carjacking and crash. Police say that the cab driver was dropping off a passenger when Gay approached the taxi and pulled the passenger out of the cab by her hair. Gay then proceeded to take off his clothes and then steal the vehicle. He then drove it through Rittenhouse Square, exiting at the 18th and Walnut Streets entrance into oncoming traffic striking a vehicle and crashing into a pole. Gay was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital for minor injuries, but no other injuries were reported. Gay has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Carjacking, DUI, and many other related charges.
