Police have now placed a teenager in to custody for vandalizing a synagogue in the Tacony section of Philadelphia. A 13-year-old boy has now been charged with the incident which took place this past Sunday. The teen threw a baseball sized rock through a stained glass window at Temple Menorah Keneseth Chai. The synagogue had installed surveillance cameras and was able to catch the incident on video. Police are still investigating into whether the teen was connected to the string of vandalisms that have taken place at the synagogue over the past few months in Philadelphia.

Temple University has now changed the name of their school of media and communications to the Lewis Klein College of Media and Communications. Klein was a well known broadcasting pioneer in Philadelphia, producing many shows including 'American Bandstand' and 'Captain Noah'. Klein also helped launch the careers of Dick Clark, Sally Star, and Bob Saget. Temple stated that they are proud to name the school after Klein, since he began teaching there in 1958.

Philadelphia Police are now searching for man who they say forced a woman into his van and ended up hitting a police officer in South Philadelphia. The incident happened at the intersection of 56th and Whitby. Police received a report of an armed man who was trying to drag a woman into his minivan. When officers arrived on the scene, the suspect tried to speed away, and ended up backing into an officer, injuring him. During the altercation, the officer discharged his weapon one time. The driver's minivan was later found abandoned on the 7600 block of Lindbergh Boulevard. The officer injured in the incident is reportedly in stable condition. Police are now reviewing surveillance footage that could help identify the suspect.
