Delaware State Police have released a short surveillance video of the suspect wanted in a carjacking at a Wawa in Claymont on Wednesday morning. It happened at the store on Philadelphia Pike. A 29-year-old mother left her 6-year-old child and the keys in the car while she ran into the store. A few minutes later the child came into the Wawa and told his mother that someone had gotten into and taken their car. He was able to escape before the carjacker drove away. The female suspect was apparently hanging around the parking lot. The car is a 2008 Hyundai Sonata with Delaware plate 245559. Anyone with information can contact Detective W. Harris at 302-365-8428 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.

This morning a deer carcass was discovered hanging inside the stadium at Central Bucks High School West. The deer was found in War Memorial Stadium in Doylestown. School superintendent John Kopicki said it was removed by staff and police were notified. Those responsible will face disciplinary actions. This weekend, CB West faces CB East football on Saturday. Extra security will be on duty at both schools before the game. "The high schools' principals have communicated with their students this morning about appropriate behavior and the high standards of conduct that we all expect. The Central Bucks School District will continue to reinforce with our students the actions needed to ensure a positive and safe school community," Kopicki said.
