SEPTA officials have announced that a train stop along the Main Line will be shut down for the next few weeks due to construction. The Villanova stop on the Norristown High Speed Line will be closed over the next six weeks while the school works on connecting an overpass to a pedestrian walkway bridge. SEPTA officials say for an alternative route passengers can walk to the Stadium Station on Ithan Avenue south of Lancaster. The Villanova stop is set to reopen on December 11th.

Several Penncrest High School football players were sick after a hazmat situation occurred in the high school's locker room this past Friday night. Emergency crews were called to the high school just after 10 p.m. after players started to get sick in the locker room. A total of 13 players were ill after their game against Radnor High School and many of them had to be taken to the hospital. Fire officials say that the ventilation system in the locker room had malfunctioned making an irritant in the ventilation. Luckily the players are all said to have recovered quickly.

Police in Upper Merion are now investigating a police involved shooting that took place outside of the King of Prussia Mall on Sunday afternoon. The shooting happened outside of the Nordstrom side of the mall at around 4 pm. Police say that one suspect was shot multiple times in the parking lot of the mall. The suspect was taken to a local hospital; no police were injured in the shooting. The mall remained open during the altercation.
