A local high school football player has been arrested for reportedly robbing a Wawa. 18-year-old Isheem Young, who is a star football player at Imhotep Charter School, is accused of armed robbery. The incident happened in July, but officials recently spotted the car used in the robbery on Friday, which led to the arrests. Police say that Young was seen on surveillance footage with a black revolver. They got away with more than $13,000. Police say that Young had two accomplices as well, Rafi Johnson, the alleged getaway driver, and Quasir Wingate, who was the assistant manager at Wawa. Police believe that this was an inside job. Young verbally committed to Penn State University in July, but because of NCAA rules, Penn State cannot comment as of now. Young is currently in jail with his bail set at $150,000.

PennDOT officials are now telling Pennsylvania residents to think about the documents they need to get REAL ID compliant drivers licenses and ID cards. The cards won't be available until spring of 2019, but officials say that the application process will begin a lot sooner. For drivers who got their license or ID after September 2003, the documents needed should already be in PennDOT records. Residents will be able to check in March 2018 online. For drivers who got their license or ID before that date they will need to provide proof of identity such as an original birth certificate or a valid passport. It can taken several months to get a new birth certificate and other documents so start checking now.

Three juveniles are now in police custody after they have been accused of beating a man to death in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia. The incident took place last Sunday just after 6 pm on the 4200 block of Loring Street. Police were called to the home with reports of a robbery, they arrived on the scene to find the victim, 57-year-old Kevin Cullen, on the ground unconscious. A home surveillance camera shows Cullen being followed by a group of teens before the attack took place. Cullen later died at the hospital early on Monday. The teens are now awaiting formal charges.
