Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro announced on Tuesday, 12/4, that an undercover Philadelphia Police officer who shot and killed a man over the summer will not face criminal charges. The Philadelphia Police department is still conducting an internal review. "My office conducted a thorough four-month review of this case, interviewing witnesses, examining video footage, and analyzing all available evidence," Shapiro said in a statement. "We applied the facts to Pennsylvania law, and accordingly, no criminal charges against Richard Nicoletti will be filed by my office." It happened on August 20th around 4:15 p.m. in the city's Tacony neighborhood. The Narcotics Field Unit were conducting an undercover investigation on the 7100 block of Cottage Street. They were preparing to execute a search warrant on the suspect's home when they saw 36-year-old Jeffery Dennis driving on nearby Hegerman Street. The officers boxed in Dennis' Toyota Camry and approached the vehicle with guns drawn. Dennis continued to try to escape in his car, smashing an undercover vehicle, and hitting one of the officers. Officer Richard Nicoletti fired three shots into the vehicle and killed Dennis. Philadelphia Police released video of the incident. Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner passed the case to the Attorney General's office because of a conflict of interest. Krasner, a longtime defense lawyer, once represented Dennis. The police department is still looking into possible violations of police procedures. Nicoletti, a 29-year-veteran, remains on desk duty.

Philadelphia 76ers guard Markelle Fultz is out indefinitely after being diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome after seeing specialists over the past week. TOS is a group of disorders that occur when blood vessels and nerves compress in the space between your collar bone and first rib. It causes pain in your shoulders and neck and numbness in your fingers. It is treatable with physical therapy. Fultz has had numerous issues with his shooting ability since he was drafted No. 1 overall in 2017. At times, many wondered if the problems were physical or just mental. Hopefully this diagnosis can lead to some proper rehabilitation for the young Sixer.

Authorities have released the names of the elderly couple found dead outside of their home in Whitemarsh on Tuesday, 12/4. 84-year-old Ross Woodward and 81-year-old Rhoda Woodward were discovered around 11 a.m. by a postal worker on the 500 block of S. Bethlehem Pike. Autopsies were conducted on Wednesday, 12/5, but the cause and manner of death are pending toxicology results.
