Evesham Township police are searching for several suspects after a series of burglaries and attempted break-ins over the weekend in one neighborhood. It started around 3 a.m. Sunday morning, 2/3, in the Ravenscliff development. An Evesham officer on patrol noticed a man wearing dark clothing flee and leave a vehicle's door open. The car had been burglarized. A homeowner told officers that someone set off his alarm by trying to enter his front door. It was determined that several vehicles and homes had been targeted. The suspects were caught on surveillance footage released by the police. They did manage to get away that night by stealing a car. Police want to remind residents to keep their homes and cars locked and not to leave the keys in the vehicles. They believe these are experienced burglars and not just some teenagers. If you have any information or video contact Evesham police.

Police in Northampton County have arrested a man for the death of his 71-year-old mother the he claims was in self defense. Police responded to the woman's home on the 1900 block of West Point Drive in Lower Saucon Township around 9:30 a.m. on Monday, 2/4, for a welfare check. 49-year-old Phillip Looby answered the door with blood on his hands. They found his mother, Maryanne Looby, dead inside. He claimed that he killed her in self-defense when she came at him with an X-acto knife. He was arrested and charged with homicide. Looby was denied bail and taken to Northampton County Prison.

Authorities in Bucks County are looking for a possible police impersonator who pulled over a woman. It happened around 10:40 a.m. Friday, 2/1, in the parking lot of the Honey Baked Ham at 636 Lincoln Highway in Fairless Hills. The man was driving a dark colored, unmarked Ford Crown Victoria with red and blue flashing lights on the dash. He asked her for her identification and registration and the returned to his car. She noticed that he smelled like cigarettes and alcohol. The man asked her to get out of the vehicle, which she refused because she had already begun to question his legitimacy. The man handed back her information and she drove off. The woman then called police who confirmed that he was not a real officer. "You can always call 911 and talk to the same dispatchers we talk to and they'll know whether or not it's us," says Lt. Nelson Whitney, of the Falls Township Police Department. The man is described as white male in his late 30s to early 40s, with a "dirty appearance," scruffy hair, and odor of smoke and alcohol on his person. He was not wearing a uniform.
