Philadelphia Police have arrested a man wanted for attacking three women in North Philadelphia in broad daylight on Sunday morning, 9/8. 36-year-old Shaun Lloyd of the 1500 block of Swain Street has been charged with three counts of attempt to commit kidnappings and other related offenses. All three attacks and attempted abductions happened within 30 minutes of each other around 9 a.m. on the 800 block of North 15th Street. They were all captured on surveillance video. The first woman was grabbed from behind. She was able to fight her way free and contacted police. The second woman was grabbed by Lloyd until a Good Samaritan helped her escape. The third woman was followed by Lloyd and ran away as he tried to grab her. There may be more victims. Contact police if you have any information. Watch the videos on the previous articles below.

The retrial of an alleged cop shooter ended in a mistrial on Thursday, 9/12. Eric Torres will now face a third trial in the shooting of Officer Edward Davies inside a Feltonville grocery store in 2013. Torres was convicted in his first trial but that conviction was vacated by the state supreme court. They found that police did not have probable cause to search Torres' home. The mistrial was declared today after the prosecution introduced the wrong gun into evidence. Assistant District Attorney Ed Jaramillo took a gun out of an evidence box that was not the .45 glock allegedly used in the shooting, but presumably one obtained during the illegal search. The retrial is expected to start next month. Officer Davies was in a coma for several weeks following the shooting. He still remains on the force but suffers from nerve damage.

Burlington County authorities have indicted a Willingboro man for the double murder of a grandmother and her grandson in June. 23-year-old Terrance Matthews is charged with 2 counts of first-degree murder. Matthews is accused of stabbing is ex-girlfriend's grandmother 68-year-old Jennifer Vasell and drowning her 9-year-old brother Ishon Mathlin Jr. in a bathtub. It happened on June 20th in their Eastbrook Lane home. Matthews murdered the two while his girlfriend was at work and then held her hostage all night. The next day, she told a Wawa employee what had happened and he fled the store. He live streamed the subsequent high-speed police chase. Matthews has also been connected to and charged with the murder of man from February. That man was sitting in a car in Willingboro.
