A Cumberland County man has been arrested for stabbing his father to death and assaulting his grandmother inside their home Friday morning, 4/19, before fleeing in a stolen car. 38-year-old Michael Tedesco is charged with murder, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, and robbery. A man has been arrested and charged with the Bucks County murder of his wife who went missing nearly 40 years ago. 76-year-old William Korzon was arraigned in court on Thursday, 4/18, on homicide, forgery, and perjury charges. He was denied bail. Korzon now lives in central Pennsylvania. His wife, Gloria Korzon, disappeared on March 6, 1981. The couple lived in Warrington at the time. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy announced on Wednesday, 4/17, that service on NJ TRANSIT Atlantic City Rail Line and the Princeton Branch Dinky Line will resume on May 12th. 28-year-old Kate McClure was in a New Jersey courtroom on Monday to enter a guilty plea and admit to her role in the $400,000 GoFundMe scam. She was charged with 2nd-degree theft by deception and will face 4 years in prison when sentenced in June. The Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France, continues to burn this evening in the City of Lights. The fire broke out around 6:50 p.m. local time near the roof and quickly spread. Notre Dame was not only a significant Catholic house of worship but also a magnificent architectural marvel visited by millions worldwide every year. It also housed invaluable artworks and artifacts. A large fire destroyed a New Jersey boardwalk cafe near Asbury Park on Saturday, 4/13. It started around 11:30 a.m. at the Dunes Boardwalk Cafe at 4 North End Boardwalk in Ocean Grove. The building houses several businesses and would have opened for the season in May. The roof collapsed at 2 p.m. and firefighters were still putting out hot spots into Saturday night.
