A helicopter crashed into marshlands next to the Ocean City Municipal Airport in New Jersey on Friday morning, 8/10. It happened around 9:30 a.m. to the west of the tarmac near 28th Street. A student pilot and instructor were inside the Robinson R22 helicopter at the time. They were taken to Shore Memorial hospital for non life-threatening injuries. There is now a $50,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of two suspects accused of opening fire on two undercover Camden County detectives. The New Jersey State Fraternal Order of Police is offering $25,000, the Camden Fraternal Order of Police is offering $5,000, and the New Jersey State Police Benevolent Association is offering $20,000. A suspect is dead after exchanging gunfire with police in South Philadelphia this morning, 8/9. It started just after 11 a.m. on the 1900 block of Woodstock Street. Two officers confronted a 48-year-old man on a bicycle who they thought was carrying a weapon. As they approached, the man ditched the bike and ran. A former Temple University fraternity president is facing new charges after another victim has come forward. Ari Goldstein is now charged with rape, sexual assault, unlawful restraint and indecent assault for a November 2017 incident. A South Whitehall Township police officer has been charged in the shooting death of a man near Dorney Park in Lehigh County late last month. 33-year-old Officer Joseph Roselli was charged with voluntary manslaughter in the death of 44-year-old Joseph Santos of Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. A 7-year-old girl was a victim in an apparent murder-suicide in the Manayunk neighborhood of Philadelphia on Monday morning, 8/6. It happened on the 4500 block of Wilde Street. The girl's stepfather found her in the living room of the home with a bag over her head around 11 a.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A Main Line man is under arrest and accused of using Snapchat to run a marijuana operation and sell drugs to teenagers. 21-year-old Nathan Twedt of Bryn Mawr allegedly conducted the business out of his parent's home on Old Oaks Road. Radnor Police began an investigation when a parent caught their teen with weed and found out they bought it from a seller on Snapchat.
