The daughter of a mother and grandmother who were found dead in a Ventnor high rise condominium last weekend has been arrested for their murders. 41-year-old Heather Barbera of Ventnor was arrested on Wednesday, 7/11, in New York City. She is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, and third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Authorities now say that a Delaware man shot and killed his wife and 3 children before turning the gun on himself in a murder-suicide. It happened around noon on Monday, 7/9, on the 2700 block of Ferris Road in Prices Corner. 42-year-old Matthew Edwards shot and killed his wife, 41-year-old Julie Edwards. Bucks County police are looking for a person of interest after a woman was found stabbed to death inside her car on the side of the road on Monday morning, 7/9. It happened around 6:45 a.m. on the 3100 block of Hulmeville Road in Bensalem. 43-year-old Teresa Priestly called 911 saying she was in danger. The first four members of a Thai youth soccer team trapped deep inside a cave have been rescued. The 12 boys and their coach have been trapped there for over two weeks. Four children and one adult were killed in a multi-car crash in New Castle County, Delaware, on Friday afternoon, 7/6. It happened just before 4 p.m. on Route 1 North near Pine Tree Road in Townsend. A work truck heading southbound crossed the grassy median into the northbound lanes. It clipped a white car and continued south before being broadsided by a minivan. Water Main Break Closes Sesame Place Early; Swimmer Dies in Surf City; Starbucks Employee Fired

Both Sesame Place and the Oxford Valley Mall had to close on Thursday, July 5th, following a water main break in Middletown Township, Bucks County. The break happened near the intersection of Woodbourne Rd and Rt. 213 just after 1 p.m. Sesame Place says to check for updates on their sites. The Oxford Valley Mall plans to reopen on Friday at 10 a.m.

A female driver has turned herself into police and has been charged in connection to a fatal hit-and-run in West Philadelphia last month that killed a 5-year-old boy. 25-year-old Anisa Thompson was taken into custody at the 9th District in Spring Garden. She is charged with homicide by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, fleeing the scene of an accident where a death resulted, and related offenses. A woman climbed the base of the Statue of Liberty around 3 p.m. this afternoon, 7/4. National Park Service authorities are still trying to get her down. U.S. Parks Police evacuated Liberty Island. Seven other people with a group called Rise and Resist were arrested today. They were protesting immigration policy and had unfurled a large banner that said "Abolish ICE."

Protestors clashed with police on Tuesday, 7/2, in Center City Philadelphia as officers tried to clear away an encampment outside of the entrance to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office at 8th and Cherry Streets. Twenty-nine people were arrested and received citations for failure to disperse. Two people sustained minor injuries.
