A partially decomposed body was found wrapped in a tarp in a parking lot in Fairmount Park on Friday morning. A employee of the Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Department was emptying trash cans in the parking lot near Martin Luther Kind Dr and Black Road at around 8 a.m. when he noticed the tarp. Fire broke out at the former Inquirer building for the second day in a row. It started on the 400 block of North Broad Street near Callowhill around 8 a.m. Wednesday. Black smoke could be seen coming from the roof of the building which once housed the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News. A tractor-trailer lost control and fell off an overpass, landed on I-95, and spilled its cargo of empty beer kegs this morning in Bensalem, Bucks County. It happened around 9 a.m. near the Cornwells Park and Ride between the Woodhaven and Street Road exits. Bill Cosby's sexual assault retrial got off to a rousing start before proceedings even began this morning at the courthouse in Norristown, Montgomery County. As Cosby was approaching the courthouse, a topless protestor jumped the barricade and charged at the entertainer while yelling. A fight outside a 7-Eleven store in Northeast Philadelphia early Saturday morning ended in gunfire. It started around 3 a.m. in the parking lot of the convenience store on the 6900 block of Torresdale Ave. at Disston Street in the Tacony section. The cousin of a 14-year-old Bucks County girl who was found stabbed multiple times and shot in the head has now been charged with murder. 20-year-old Colin Haag III is accused of killing 14-year-old Autumn Bartle last week in the home they shared in Croydon, Bristol Township. Bartle was found last Friday night when her parents arrived home. She was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital where she died on Monday. A private trash truck plowed through a Grays Ferry neighborhood early this morning heavily damaging several parked cars. It happened at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday on Reed Street near 26th Street. The driver of the truck told police a mechanical problem caused him to crash into several cars. 10 vehicles in total were damaged. At least one car ended up on top of another. Details have been announced for the Villanova National Championship Parade to celebrate the Wildcats' win in the NCAA Championship Monday night in San Antonio. The men's basketball team beat Michigan 79-62 to win their 2nd title in the past 3 years and third overall.
