Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a shooting occurred in the Brewerytown section of Philadelphia that sent a man to the hospital. The shooting took place at the intersection of North 29th and Jefferson Streets at around 4 am on Thursday. Police say that the 50-year-old victim was found with gunshot wounds to the leg and lower back, he was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital where he is listed in stable condition. A 10-year-old Gloucester County boy was arrested after sending threatening e-mails to teachers and principals in multiple school districts early Thursday morning. A teacher and a principal both received emails threatening shootings at district schools on Thursday and Friday. School was closed in Franklin Township School District, Delsea Regional School District, and Elk Township schools as a result of the threats. The Philadelphia Police Department announced that they are holding a gun buyback program this Friday March 2nd. The program will take place next to the Official Unlimited Store located on North Broad Street at 10 am on Friday. People will be able to come by and surrender their gun. Police ask anyone bringing in a gun to be surrendered, to have them unloaded so it is safe to take. Trained tactical personnel will be on site to ensure the safety of the gun for processing. Truck Hits Overpass in Radnor - Again!; Church Has Couples' Blessing w/ AR-15s; Dicks Stops AR Sales

A box truck slammed into to a railroad overpass and fell on its side in Delaware County this morning. It happened on King of Prussia Road between Radnor-Chester Road and Matsonford Road near the Radnor train station around 8:30 a.m. This is the fourth time since last November that a truck has hit the bridge despite posted clearance limits. Heavy duty tow trucks were able to pull the truck out from under the overpass. No one was injured.

Police are investigating after a man was found with his throat slashed in South Philadelphia. Police found the 27-year-old man in the middle of the 2700 block of South Hutchinson Street in the early morning hours of Tuesday. The man was rushed to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition. Police are still searching for a motive and a suspect for the incident.

Police in Medford Township, Burlington County, are searching for a road rage suspect who brandished a baseball bat. Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect and a surveillance photo of his car. On Friday February 16th around 9 a.m. on Ark Road a single vehicle struck a tree and the driver was ejected from the car. The victim was airlifted to Cooper Trauma Center for treatment. Ten animals are now in the care of the Brandywine SPCA after a suspect was taken into custody in connection with dog fighting in Chester County. Police have stated that six dogs and four rabbits were rescued from the home and are now getting the medical attention they needed. 39-year-old Dwayne Molina has been charged with animal cruelty in the case. Police in State College, PA are investigating damage to a stone statue of Pennsylvania State University's nittany lion mascot. Authorities responded to the Nittany Lion Shrine, a popular photo spot on campus, around 4 a.m. Sunday to the reports of damage. They discovered the statue's right ear was broken off and found it nearby. They are trying to determine if it was intentional or accidental. The spokesman for comedian Bill Cosby says that one of the entertainer's daughters has died. Andrew Wyatt confirmed Monday that 44-year-old Ensa Cosby passed away on Friday in Massachusetts. According the the family's statement she died of renal failure, which is kidney disease. Wyatt said, "Please keep the Cosby family in your prayers and give them peace at this time." The incident happened at around 8 am on Sunday in the southbound lanes near Swedesford and Mill roads in East Whiteland Township.
