SEPTA Regional Rail Independence Pass SOLD OUT; Villanova Announcer's Son Arrested Flipping Car

SEPTA has announced that as of 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon they have SOLD OUT of all 50,000 special Independence Passes for travel on Regional Rail to and from the Eagles' Super Bowl parade on Thursday. Fans lined up at stations as early as 3 - 4 a.m. to purchase a pass. Weekly and Monthly transpasses as well as prepaid senior/reduced fares will also be accepted. Philadelphia Police are searching for a man who is wanted in connection for the sexual assault of a 22-year-old Drexel student. The incident happened at the student's apartment located on the 3400 block of Race Street at around 6 am on Saturday, January 27th. Police say that the suspect was seen driving away in a dark grey Ford SUV. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Philadelphia Police.

The City of Philadelphia has announced more information on Thursday's Eagles' Super Bowl parade. Millions of fans are expected to come out and celebrate the city's first Super Bowl win and first NFL championship in 58 years. The parade will start at 11 a.m. at Broad & Pattison in South Philadelphia and head north towards City Hall. Charges Reinstated Against Amtrak Engineer; Supreme Court Allows Redistricting; Woman Killed By Car

A judge has reinstated involuntary manslaughter and reckless endangerment charges against the train engineer at the helm of the deadly Philadelphia Amtrak 188 crash in May 2015. Back in September, a judge threw out all charges against 34-year-old Brandon Bostian after the preliminary hearing saying that there was insufficient evidence to head to trial. With the big celebration of the Eagles' Super Bowl victory Sunday night, many fans took to the streets to celebrate. While most of the celebrating was under control, some of the fans decided to cause a bit of mayhem in the streets of Philadelphia. The window's at Macy's located on Market Street were smashed. The parade will be held on Thursday, February 8th and will start at 11 a.m. It will begin at Broad and Pattison in South Philadelphia and then head north towards the Art Museum. The Philadelphia Eagles beat the New England Patriots 41-33 on Sunday in Super Bowl LII in Minnesota and are bringing the Lombardi Trophy back to Broad Street. The Eagles put on a spectacular and record setting show on Sunday. Eagles Quarterback Nick Foles threw for 373 yards and three touchdowns. The NFL Honors were announced on Saturday night. Former Philadelphia Eagles safety Brian Dawkins and wide receiver Terrell Owens were both selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH. Dawkins played for the Eagles for 13 seasons and was a 9-time Pro Bowler. Both he and Owens were teammates during the Eagles' last Super Bowl appearance in 2005. The Wig-Wearing Woman accused of a series of fraud cases in New Jersey has been arrested. 43-year-old Brooke Slade of Arizona was arrested on Thursday after being recognized from social media posts. It started at the PNC Bank on Sunset Avenue in Ashbury Park around 4 pm. A bank teller at the drive-up window recognized the woman from media coverage and called police. Wing Bowl 26 was held in the predawn hours Friday morning at the Wells Fargo Center in South Philly. Nearly 20,000 people packed the stadium to partake in the spectacle fueled by beer and of course wings. Usually, Wing Bowl is Philadelphia's substitute for the Eagles not being in the Super Bowl. It became another rally ahead of Sunday's game for the fans. Molly Schuyler won her third title and set a new record. She ate 501 wings in 30 minutes, besting the old record of 444 set in 2015....
