Bensalem police are now searching for two women who are wanted for allegedly drugging a man and then robbing him. The victim told police that he was out drinking on New Year's Eve at a bar in Manayunk. The two women approached the man and started talking with him. Police say that the two women either roofied the man or gave him so much too drink that he passed out. Dr. James Kauffman, accused of hiring a hitman to kill his wife and running a pill mill from his New Jersey doctor's office, appeared in court on Thursday via video. Kauffman was already in custody. The body of a missing University of Pennsylvania student has been found in a Southern California park days after he had gone missing. 19-year-old Blaze Bernstein was home on winter break. He was last seen by a friend around 11 p.m. on January 2nd entering Borrego Park in the Foothill Ranch area of the city of Lake Forest, Orange County. The two had gone to meet a third friend. Pennsylvania is now on track to have driver's licenses and ID's ready for the REAL ID requirements needed for air travel. As of now, PennDOT officials will begin issuing REAL ID licenses starting in spring of 2019, but the federal deadline for air travel compliant licenses is this October. A Philadelphia Police officer was left injured after a traffic stop on Monday evening. The incident took place on the 2900 block of American Street at around 6:24 pm. Funeral arrangements have been announced for Philadelphia firefighter Lt. Matthew LeTourneau. Matt died while fighting a row home fire on the 2200 block of N. Colorado Street on the morning of Saturday, January 6th 2018.
