A New Jersey woman has helped raise over $39,000 for a homeless man in Philadelphia who bought her gas with his last $20. Last month, Katie McClure of Florence Township ran out of gas on I-95 on her way into the city to visit a friend. "Johnny" saw her predicament and told her to stay in the car. He brought back a can of gas he purchased with his money so that Katie could be on her way. She didn't have any cash and was determined to repay him. She started by giving him the money as well... The remains of two missing residents from the West Chester senior living home fire that took place last week, have been recovered in the wreckage. The fire broke out at the Barclay Friends Senior Living Community last Thursday, which resulted in injuring over two dozen people and displacing 133 residents. A suspect is now in custody after a police standoff this afternoon in Newark, DE. New Castle County police were called to a home on the unit block Lawrence Avenue to perform a welfare check around 1 p.m. When officers arrived, a shot was fired at them from inside the home. Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan announced today that four people remain unaccounted for following Thursday's massive fire at the Barclay Friends Senior Living Community in West Chester. He said that those four are presumed dead. Philadelphia Police have now identified the woman who died after she was found badly burned in a house fire in Roxborough on Sunday. Local Philadelphia teacher Shelia Hawkins was found in the home and was rushed to Temple University Hospital where she later died from her injuries. A mistrial has been declared in the corruption case against New Jersey Senator Robert Menendez after jurors remained deadlocked on all charges after more than six full days of deliberations.
