The 31st annual AIDS Walk/Run Philly 5K was held on Sunday morning, those participating raised over $275,000. The walk began Sunday morning in Eakins Oval, then went down Martin Luther King Drive, ending back in Eakins Oval. Over 10,000 people participated in the event. The $275,000 raised in the event will be used to support nearly 30,000 people who are living with HIV in the Greater Philadelphia area.

| Philadelphia Police have arrested a man they say tried to run down a sheriff's deputy in South Philadelphia on Saturday night. 32-year-old Deven Harley is charged with with aggravated assault and related offenses. Officials in Delaware County are now investigating a deadly train accident that took place in Norwood. The incident took place at around 4:30 pm on Thursday on the unit block of West Winona Street. Officials have stated that a pedestrian was struck and killed by an oncoming Amtrak train. SEPTA had to suspend service on the Wilmington Line while police investigated the scene.
