A 33-year-old woman has been charged with the murder of a Bucks County pharmaceutical executive in his home back in August. Jennifer Morrissey is charged with murder, burglary, tampering with evidence, and other offenses in the death of 64-year-old Michael McNew in Washington Crossing. McNew was discovered on August 8th in his home along the Delaware River in a chair with a single gunshot wound to his head. The Philadelphia Phillies announced this afternoon that manager Pete Mackanin will not manage the club in 2018. He will remain with the team as a special assistant to general manager Matt Klentak. Mackanin took over as manager on June 26th, 2015 when Charlie Manuel was fired. Over the past 2 1/2 seasons he's compiled a 172-237 record overseeing the breakdown of the former championship team and the bottom of the barrel of the rebuilding phase. A vigil was held on Thursday night for a teenager that was shot and killed in Germantown this past Tuesday. The shooting took place on Tuesday night at around 8:40 pm, killing 16-year-old Jai Custus and injuring three others. The victim's family stated that Custus began to run towards the gunshots to keep his younger cousins out of the way who were with him at the time of the shooting. A Montgomery County, Pennsylvania-based company pled guilty in federal court today to hiring thousands of undocumented immigrants. Asplundh Tree Expert Co. of Willow Grove was ordered to pay a record $95 million in fines for an immigration case, an $80 millioan criminal forfeiture money judgment and a $15 million civil payment. Marple-Newtown School District officials are now investigating after a referee wouldn't allow a student on the soccer field because he was wearing religious headwear. The incident happened at an away game for Marple-Newtown against Conestoga High School. Witnesses say that the referee would not allow the Freshman student on who was wearing the religious headpiece. Police are searching for a missing doctor in Montgomery County. 70-year-old Dr. Peter Cianfrani was last seen on Tuesday morning around 9 a.m. in Marlborough Township. At around 9:30 p.m. his Honda CRV was discovered in the parking lot near the entrance to the Perkiomen Trail on Crusher Road. Cianfrani has been a doctor for 40 years. Bensalem Arson Video: Philly Horse Carriage Company Violations; Quadruple Shooting In Germantown

Bensalem Police are searching for an arsonist who is responsible for setting fire to a car, which was captured on video. The arson took place on the 2200 block of State Road last Wednesday. The video of the incident shows the suspect walking up to the car and pouring gasoline all over the rooftop. The suspect is then seen lighting a flare, completely engulfing the car in fire. Philadelphia Police are asking the public's help in trying to find a missing 8-year-old boy. Semaj Leake was last seen on Tuesday around 12:40 p.m. on the 400 block of Nedro Avenue in the Olney section. He is around 4-feet tall and weighs 70 pounds. Catto was a 19th century activist, educator, scholar, civil rights leader, ball player, soldier, and army recruiter. 30-year-old Greg Feldman, wanted for shooting his ex-girlfriend's mother in Limerick on Friday, was found dead on Monday night. Feldman took his own life in a Wawa parking lot in Schuylkill Twp., Chester County. He died of a self inflicted gun shot wound inside of a parked car.
