Former Philadelphia Eagles long snapper Jon Dorenbos will have emergency open heart surgery after an aortic aneurysm was discovered during a physical following his recent trade to the New Orleans Saints. Saints team doctor Dr. John Amoss found the pre-existing condition while performing a team physical on the 37-year-old Dorenbos. Philadelphia Police are investigating a deadly robbery that took place in the Spring Garden section of Philadelphia. The incident happened on the 1500 block of Melon Street at around 8:05 pm. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the face. He was shot in front of his 2-year-old daughter. The victim was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital where he later passed away. A Philadelphia Police officer has been suspended for 30-days with the intent to dismiss following a fatal officer-involved shooting in June. Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross announced on Thursday that after a three-month investigation Officer Ryan Pownall would be dismissed. Upper Darby Home Invasion; Harvey Affects Gas Prices; PA's Task Force 1 Headed To Florida

Upper Darby Police are now investigating after a woman was tied up in an alleged home invasion. Police say that the incident took place along the 6800 block of Coverly Road. First Responders reported that a man allegedly broke into the home and bound the woman who was inside of the home. Police say that the suspect was able to flee out the backdoor before they arrived. It is not clear if they were able to get away with any valuables. Police are continuing an investigation.

Charges have been filed against a woman who drove a SUV through a South Philadelphia block party on Labor Day injuring nine people. 22-year-old Monique McKnight has been charged with nine counts of Aggravated Assault, Driving Under the Influence and related offenses. It happened around 4:15 p.m. on the 1500 block of Ringold Street in Point Breeze. McKnight drove past a parked car blocking off the street, through yellow tape, and down the sidewalk. Philadelphia Police are now investigating after two men were killed in separate shootings on Tuesday night. The first shooting took place on the 3000 block of North Stillman Street at around 7 pm in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia. Police arrived on the scene to find the 24-year-old victim with two gunshot wounds to the head. The second shooting took place at around 9 pm on 38th and Reno Streets in the Mantua section. KOP Water Main Break/Sink Hole; Gunpoint Robbery at Family Dollar; Catholic High School Teacher Deal

A water main break caused a large sinkhole to form in King of Prussia this morning. It happened around 7 a.m. on Shaffer Road near Dekalb Pike (Route 202 northbound). A 12-inch water main broke creating the hole which swallowed parts of the street, sidewalk, and grassy area. Several street signs also disappeared as the hole filled with water. Aqua shut off the water to customers on the 100 block of Shaffer Road in between Dekalb and Kingwood.

SEPTA's Trenton line resumed service on Monday after a pedestrian was hit and killed by an Amtrak train. The incident took place at around 8:30 am on Sunday near Philadelphia's Torresdale section on Grant Avenue and James Street. The train was heading to New York when it struck and killed a pedestrian. Amtrak brought in another train to pick up the stranded passengers on the train. Officials say that this is the third person to be hit by a train this weekend across the Delaware Valley.... 8 people were injured when a vehicle crashed through a crowd of people at a Labor Day block party in South Philadelphia on Monday afternoon. It happened around 4 p.m. on the 1500 block of Ringgold Street in Point Breeze. The female driver went around the barricade that blocked off the street and then drove her SUV down the block. Philadelphia Police have charged a man with the murder of a Temple University student that went missing on Thursday night. 29-year-old Joshua Hupperterz is in custody and has been charged in the death of 22-year-old Jenna Burleigh. Burleigh was reported missing on Thursday. She was last seen around 2 a.m. leaving Pub Webb near 16th and Cecil B. Moore.
