Six former guards at Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Eagleville, PA have been arrested for assaulting two inmates. They have been charged with aggravated and simple assault, conspiracy and other offenses. It happened on February 14th. Surveillance video shows that inmates Derrick Houlihan and Matthew Ruffings were beaten while in their cell. Houlihan, who wears a prosthetic leg, was taken to the medical facility and beaten again. New Jersey Police are now investigating after a 3-year-old boy was shot in Trenton on Thursday night. The shooting took place at Exton and Stuyvesant Avenues at around 8:15 pm. The child was outside during the shooting and was hit in the shoulder by a bullet. The boy was then rushed to Capital Regional Health System where he is currently listed in stable condition. There is still no word on any arrests that have taken place.

A standoff with police in Trenton, NJ, ended peacefully late this afternoon after a tense 35 hours. 35-year-old Tyleeb Reese walked out of his home with his hands up and surrendered to police at around 5 p.m. Thursday. It started at 6:20 a.m. on Wednesday when U.S. Marshals attempted to serve a warrant to Reese at 300 block of Centre Street. He is a convicted sex offender and was wanted for a Megan's Law violation. A Delaware County Catholic High School senior has been arrested and charged with possessing thousands of child pornography images and videos, mostly of local high school and middle school boys. 18-year-old Derrick Jones of Glenolden is charged with dissemination of child porn, unlawful use of a computer, harassment, stalking and other crimes. Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a shooting left three men injured in Southwest Philadelphia. The shooting occurred on the 5900 block of Windsor Street at around 6 pm on Wednesday. Police were called to the scene after there were reports of gunfire. Police later arrived on the scene to find proof of gunfire, but no victims. The Philadelphia Zoning Board approved billboards on 11 Parking Authority garages and lots in a vote on Wednesday afternoon. The PPA says the 6x12 foot signs will replace similar smaller signs that were previously at the locations. Revenue will help defray the cost of upkeep of the neighborhood parking lots. NJ Acting U.S. Attorney William Fitzpatrick said on Tuesday that the new charges come from Williams' alleged use of political action committee (PAC) funds and official government vehicles for personal benefit. The Philadelphia District Attorney's office announced that they will not pursue charges against the train engineer who was operating Amtrak train 188 when it derailed two years ago. On May 12th, 2015, Amtrak 188 crashed going around a curve at Frankford Junction while traveling twice the speed limit. Eight people died and over 200 were injured.
