The FBI announced today that a Bucks County man is under arrest for allegedly stealing almost a half a million dollars over 11 separate bank robberies in Pennsylvania since 2012. 57-year-old Richard Boyle of Doylestown is charged with multiple counts of bank robbery, using or carrying a firearm during the commission of those bank robberies, and money laundering. Philadelphia Police are searching for three men who were caught on video attacking and robbing another man on the street in broad daylight over the weekend. It happened around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 15th, on the 3500 block of B and Tioga streets in Kensington. The 25-year-old victim had just left a restaurant where he picked up a job application. Festivities started first thing this morning with a ceremonial wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier of the American Revolution in Washington Square. Philadelphia Police reported on Tuesday night that a woman was struck by a police cruiser while it was in pursuit of a suspect in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. The incident took place on F Street near Kensington Avenue at around 5 pm. Witnesses reported that the chase started on foot inside of a park, then a police cruiser got involved and ended up hitting a woman who was in the park. A Maple Shade, New Jersey man convicted of killing 6-year-old Etan Patz in Manhattan in 1979 was sentenced today to 25 years to life in prison. 56-year-old Pedro Hernandez was a teenager at the time working in a convenience store in the neighborhood where Etan went missing on his way to the school bus. Pennsylvania State Police have confirmed that the alleged 'Facebook Killer' Steve Stephens shot and killed himself after a brief police pursuit in Erie, PA on Tuesday morning. Stephens' vehicle was spotted at around 11 a.m. by a citizen. Police located and pursed him for around two miles. The incident took place at a Popeye's restaurant on the 3100 block of West Cheltenham Avenue. A historic church in Delaware County was badly damaged by fire on Monday morning. It broke out around 8:30 a.m. at the Memorial Presbyterian Church on the 3200 block of Chichester Ave. in Boothwyn. Heavy flames could be seen pouring from the entrance. The blaze rose to two-alarms with about 100 firefighters on scene according to Ogden Fire Chief Craig Small. Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a woman was shot and killed in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. The incident took place on the 700 block of East Hilton Street at around 1 am on Sunday. Police officers arrived on the scene to find a 24-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the chest She was rushed to Temple University Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
