The Philadelphia Flower show wraps up this weekend at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The theme of this year's show, put on annually by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, is "Holland." Of course that means lots of tulips, but there is plenty more to see. Police officers and firefighters in Atlantic City are fighting back against proposed cuts by the State of New Jersey. They were out on the boardwalk on Friday handing out flyers to raise awareness. They say that layoffs or reduced salaries will only hurt the public's safety in the city. The cuts are being proposed by state officials who are in charge of Atlantic City's finances after a state takeover. A former Pennsylvania State Trooper has been charged with the shooting death of his pregnant wife and their baby three years ago. 36-year-old Joseph Miller was arraigned in Montgomery County court on Friday. He is charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter including his wife Joanna Miller and their 24-week-old newborn baby. It happened on March 7, 2014. A Delaware County woman is now facing child endangerment charges after she left her her 8-year-old child alone, and he started a fire in their apartment. 32-year-old Potehboe Suah had left her her son alone in the apartment while she went to work. Montgomery County officials are trying to find the owners of 50,000 pieces of stolen jewelry, coins, and other valuables recovered recently. They are valued at $1.5 million. The items were stolen as part of a massive theft ring that ran in the entire Philadelphia area including parts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware as far back as 2013. Fire Officials are now investigating after a fire in South Philadelphia led to a partial roof collapse at a restaurant. The fire broke out at Coco's Chicken and Waffles on the 1400 block of South Street at around 6 am. The building also houses apartments above the restaurant. The lifting of the Snow Emergency means that parking is now allowed again on emergency routes throughout the city.
