The United States Geological Survey has reported that Fukushima, Japan was hit with a 6.9 magnitude earthquake on Monday and have now reported a possible Tsunami. The earthquake formed at a depth of 10 kilometers off the eastern coast of Fukushima and tremors from the earthquake could be felt as far away as Tokyo. Kanye West has canceled the rest of the tour dates on his Saint Pablo tour. This comes after the rapper went on a long tirade at a show in Sacramento, CA this past weekend and cut the show short. The cancellations include two shows scheduled at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on December 13th and 15th. No reason was given for the cancellation.

The 23rd Annual Philadelphia Marathon was held on Sunday that brought out tens of thousands of runners to run the city-wide course in the windy and cold weather. Around 30,000 runners crossed the starting line starting at 7 am Sunday, beginning their 26.2 mile run starting at Eakins Oval, down the parkway to Race Street, then along the Delaware River to Chestnut, then through Kelly Drive to Manayunk, finishing up at Ben Franklin Parkway. Philadelphia Police are now investigating after an 8-year-old girl was hit by a car in Overbrook. The incident happened Friday at around 3:30 pm on 63rd Street and Lansdowne Avenue. Police have stated that the girl was hit by the car, and the driver proceeded to flee the scene in his car. The girl was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where she is currently in critical condition. Thousands of SEPTA union bus, trolley, and subway drivers are voting today on the tentative agreement struck between union leadership and SEPTA management last week. The agreement ended a 6-day strike just before Election Day. TWU Local 234 president Willie Brown sent a letter to union members telling them this is the best deal they could get from the cash strapped, publically funded transit agency. Students at the University of Pennsylvania staged a walk out on Thursday morning in protest against the racist messages sent to numerous black freshman last week. The text messages sent to the students included many racial slurs and even referencing lynching. The messages were sent over the app Group Me by a student at The University of Oklahoma. Police in Moorestown New Jersey have arrested four Philadelphia men for shoplifting on Tuesday night. The four men had robbed a Macy's in the Moorestown Mall on Sunday night at around 6:30 pm. Police say that the men stole around $5300 worth of polo jackets from the store, and got away in a Black SUV. Later that night at around 8 pm the suspects entered a Macy's on 13th and Market in Center City where they were able to steal more Polo merchandise and flee the scene. The men got away in... A 20-year-old student at Drexel University was arrested on Wednesday for operating a drone over a protest in Center City Philadelphia. Joseph Roselli has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Causing/Risking Catastrophe, Simple Assault, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. A hot air balloon made an unexpected landing at a park on Wednesday afternoon. The balloon landed at McKinley Playground at C and Westmoreland Streets in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. The balloon reportedly had the proper clearances to fly in the air and was coming from Pottstown. The pilot stated that the balloon was supposed to make a landing at a Home Depot along Roosevelt Boulevard. Police are now searching for a suspect who is wanted for robbing a bank in Center City. The robbery took place Wednesday afternoon at the Republic Bank on the 1600 block of Market Street.
