Police are now searching for a driver who was involved in a hit and run accident that happened in the Rhawnhurst section of Philadelphia. The accident took place in the early morning hours of Sunday morning at Castor and Bleigh avenues. The victim was a 51-year-old man who was walking with a group of people when the driver of the car came speeding down the street and hit him throwing him around 50 ft away. Two Wilmington Firefighters Die in Fire; Philly Free Streets Day Parking Problem

Officials in Wilmington, DE, have identified the two firefighters who were killed in the line of duty on Saturday. 41-year-old Lt. Christopher Leach of Ladder 2 and 51-year-old Senior Firefighter Jerry Fickes of Squad 4 both died while fighting the blaze. Four other firefighters were also injured, two critically. Authorities have cleared the victim's boyfriend in Thursday's early morning homicide of a Delaware County woman. Mark Epps was named as a person of interest and wanted for questioning yesterday after 32-year-old Natasha Gibson was found dead of a slash wound to the neck near a friend's house in Yeadon. There has been an arrest in connection with the shooting death of 8-year-old Gabby Carter. 18-year-old Tyhan Brown has been arrested at a relative's home in Tennessee, by U.S. Marshals. Brown has been charged with first degree murder. Little Gabby was shot by a stray bullet while riding her bike across the street from her house in Camden back on August 24th. Police have identified a person of interest in the killing of a Yeadon, Delaware County woman early Thursday morning. Authorities are looking for 35-year-old Mark Epps of the 1300 block of S. A Delaware County woman is dead, her throat slashed, and police are at two scenes looking for clues. They found a knife in a sewer at 61st and Baltimore in Cobbs Creek. Yeadon Police Chief Donald Molineux says a family friend was expecting the victim, but she didn't show up. Authorities say a second woman has been charged with allegedly hindering the investigation into the shooting death of 8-year-old Gabrielle Hill-Carter. Authorities announced that Natasha Gerald, 19, of Manor Court in Sicklerville was charged Wednesday. The FBI is looking for two men that were seen on surveillance footage handling a bomb on West 27th Street in New York City's Chelsea section on Saturday night. Between 8 and 9 p.m., the same time another bomb went off on 23rd Street, these men walked down the street, removed the bomb from a piece of luggage, placed it on the ground, and left with just the luggage.
