Man Shot In Montco Church, Obama To Send Troops To Syria, Philly Teen Shot and Killed

An altercation between to men at Keystone Fellowship Church turned deadly, after one of the men involved pulled out a gun and opened fire. The altercation happened around 11:30 Sunday morning, in the church. The two men got into an altercation and one of the men shot and killed the other. The victim was 27-year-old Robert Braxton of Montgomeryville. Braxton was taken to Abington-Lansdale Hospital after being shot in the chest. A New Jersey mother has plead guilty to setting her newborn baby on fire and leaving it in the middle of the street. 23-year-old Hyphernkemberly Dorvilier of Pemberton Township doused her newborn daughter with accelerant and lit her on fire in January 2015. The baby died a few hours later after being flown to a Philadelphia hospital. Dorvilier plead guilty to aggravated manslaughter. Authorities say that she hid her pregnancy from her mother and sister. Philadelphia Police are looking to identify and locate a man they say attempted to rape a young woman in South Philadelphia earlier the week. The incident occurred this past Wednesday on the 1300 block of Wharton Street around 1:30 a.m. Police say a 19-year-old woman was walking down the street when she was approached by a man who grabbed her and forced her to the ground. A 30-year-old Philadelphia man is currently in Critical condition after being shot in the Wynnfield section of Philadelphia. The shooting happened around 8:45 pm on the 5400 block of Morse Street. The man was shot 3 times in the neck and was rushed to Penn Presbytirian Medical Center. As of now there have been no arrests or any suspected motive.

Pop music legend, Prince, was found dead on Thursday morning at his Paisley Park estate in Chanhassen, MN, outside of Minneapolis. His publicist confirmed the death. Haverford Township is in mourning after the sudden death of a beloved police officer in the Pennsylvania suburb. According to the police department, 39-year-old William Albertus died Sunday. The seven-year veteran of the force suffered a medical emergency last week while playing ice hockey in a police league. They say Albertus died of natural causes after being hospitalized for a week. He leaves behind his wife and three young children. Services are set for this weekend.
