Police Officer Shocked in Doylestown; Charges in Recycling Murder; Man Finds $15,200 Cash in Bag

A Bucks County police officer was shocked and injured during a narcotics investigation at the Doylestown SEPTA station on Tuesday afternoon. The Morrisville officer was part of a county drug task force investigating a suspect who was allegedly transporting heroin on the train from Philadelphia to Doylestown. Chipping away at the Eagles lineup. Howie Roseman is actively undoing what Chip Kelly did with big names and big salary player personnel. Running back DeMarco Murray has been traded to the Tennessee Titans. Safety Byron Maxwell and linebacker Kiko Alonso have been dealt to the Miami Dolphins. The Eagles appear to be clearing cap space and accumulating draft picks for rebuilding.

DNC Looking for Volunteers, 15 Men Arrested in NJ Drug Ring, Erin Andrews ends Civil Lawsuit

The Democratic National Convention is looking for 10,000 volunteers for The convention in Philly this summer from July 25th to the 28th. They are looking for both men and women above the age of 14 to volunteer. Events will take place at The Wells Fargo Center, but volunteers will also be needed at the Pennsylvania Convention Center and around the city.

Wolf Raises Minimum Wage For Some; Malvern Counselor Guilty Plea; Shots Fired at Chesco Home

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf signed an executive order today that raises the minimum wage for some state workers to $10.15, up from $7.25 an hour. The pay raise will effect around 450 state government employees and state contracted workers. The Democrat used his executive power to bypass the GOP-controlled Legislature. Raising the wage above the federal minimum for all workers in Pennsylvania will require legislation and cooperation between the Governor and the Legislature.

Peyton Manning has decided to retire a champion. After 18 seasons in the NFL and a month after his Super Bowl 50 victory, Manning will announce in a 1:00 press conference today that he will pass on a 19th season and $19 million in salary. Manning will retire as the only quarterback in NFL history to win the Super Bowl with 2 different franchises - the Denver Broncos and the Indianapolis Colts.

Two police officers have been hospitalized after a suspected DUI crash in Philly Sunday Morning. It happened Sunday Morning at 4:30 A.M. On the 100 block of South 52nd Street. The police say the driver rear ended their parked car. The Two officers were sent Penn Presbyterian Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver now faces DUI charges.
