Gov. Tom Wolf Has Cancer, Problems from Rain Storm in Philly Area, Three men arrested for Car Thefts

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced yesterday that he has been diagnosed with a mild form of prostate cancer. The cancer was found a couple of months ago at a routine checkup, and was confirmed about two weeks ago after further testing was done. Wolf said he will be treated in the next coming weeks, although he has not specified what treatment he will get, he said it will not involve chemo-therapy.

City crews are hauling away 70 clothing donation bins from around Philadelphia, because they're unsightly, illegal, and overflowing with trash. The second suspect in the deadly North East Philly drag race car crash in July has surrendered to police. 20-year-old Ryan Farrell turned himself into police yesterday after he was wanted for many charges including homicide by vehicle, aggravated assault by vehicle, and involuntary manslaughter. A Chester County man is now facing third degree murder and aggravated assault charges. Prosecutors say that the man let his father suffer and die in his bed in the man's house rather than getting him life saving medication, getting the attention of doctors, or putting him in a nursing home. Philadelphia Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that crashed during a drag racing incident last summer, killing three passengers and injuring another.
