| A Philadelphia nun and Catholic school teacher was placed on administrative leave by the archdiocese today after images surfaced of her failing a roadside sobriety test. Sister Kimberly Miller, IHM, is a faculty member at Little Flower High School for Girls in Philadelphia. Authorities say crews are battling a 2-alarm blaze at a Blue River Resources Recycling Company building. The fire was reported around 3 am Thursday morning at the 1000 block of Heald Street in Wilmington, Delaware. Authorities say recycling material caught fire.
The fire was placed under control shortly before 4 am. No injuries have been reported.

| Mayor-elect Jim Kenney formally announced today that First Deputy Commissioner Richard Ross will be his appointment for police commissioner. He will take over from current commissioner Charles Ramsey who announced his retirement last month and will step down January 7th. | The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office has announced the arrest of a Galloway Township man for the shooting death of a Mays Landing man Monday night. Police and emergency crews responded to a home on the 5900 block of Elmhurst Drive in Mays Landing after a 9-1-1 call came in at 7:29 pm.
