A Philadelphia nun and Catholic school teacher was placed on administrative leave by the archdiocese today after images surfaced of her failing a roadside sobriety test. Sister Kimberly Miller, IHM, is a faculty member at Little Flower High School for Girls in Philadelphia. Last week Miller was allegedly driving a Ford F150 pickup truck around 3 a.m. when the truck backed into a Meineke Auto Shop in Turnersville, New Jersey, smashing the shop's front door. Wilmington 2 Alarm Fire, Comcast Franchise Agreement, Wage Theft Office Bill

Authorities say crews are battling a 2-alarm blaze at a Blue River Resources Recycling Company building. The fire was reported around 3 am Thursday morning at the 1000 block of Heald Street in Wilmington, Delaware. Authorities say recycling material caught fire.
The fire was placed under control shortly before 4 am. No injuries have been reported.

Mayor-elect Jim Kenney formally announced today that First Deputy Commissioner Richard Ross will be his appointment for police commissioner. He will take over from current commissioner Charles Ramsey who announced his retirement last month and will step down January 7th. Ross is a 26-year-veteran of the force and currently oversees day-to-day operations of the Philadelphia Police Department. Joe McKeehen, of North Wales, Montgomery County, held off challenges from his final two opponents Tuesday night in Las Vegas and won the $7.68 million first prize and the World Series of Poker championship title. The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office has announced the arrest of a Galloway Township man for the shooting death of a Mays Landing man Monday night. Police and emergency crews responded to a home on the 5900 block of Elmhurst Drive in Mays Landing after a 9-1-1 call came in at 7:29 pm. Upon arrival, police found 31-year-old Michael Black suffering from a gunshot wound. Black was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division, where he was later declared dead. Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane was ordered held for trial on more charges related to Kane's alleged leak of grand jury material and then lying about it to another grand jury last year. A Montgomery County judge upheld charges of felony perjury and misdemeanor false swearing and obstruction. A photo of two Philadelphia cops asleep in their squad car circulated on social media over the weekend. The men (pictured) were so fast asleep they had no idea the photographer snapped the shot. The department is investigating and concerned. The photo was taken early Saturday morning in the 24th District and widely circulated on Twitter.

Philadelphia Police are describing the double-murder on Lemon Hill in Fairmount Park on Friday as a 'crime of passion.' Investigators say that 25-year-old Shakoor Arline and 32-year-old Lisa Smith were having a sexual encounter in the back seat of an SUV when someone opened the door and fired 9 shots, all of them to the head.
