Archaeologists doing a dig at the site of the Battle of Red Bank in Gloucester County may have uncovered a cannon that exploded in 1777 during a battle defending Fort Mercer against the British. That explosion killed 12 American regiments during the fight on October 22nd 238 years ago. Until the find is tested and verified, the heavy artillery will remain in the ground.

Around 1:25 a.m. Wednesday morning, crews responded to a 2 alarm fire in King of Prussia at an apartment complex. Dozens of residents were evacuated from their building apartments. All people appear to have been evacuated with no injuries. Crews are on scene investigating the cause of the fire.

| A man who jumped the White House fence earlier this year was shot and killed after stabbing a sheriff's deputy inside the Chester County Justice Center today. 33-year-old Curtis Smith of Coatesville, PA, entered the Justice Center in West Chester around 11 a.m. He ran right through the doors and past security yelling, 'I'm gonna get ya, I'm gonna get ya.'
