Despite having the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident in Kensington that killed a 2-year-old boy, Philadelphia Police say the search for two people who were inside the vehicle is still ongoing. The late-model white Infiniti ‘M’ series struck a 2-year-old boy and his mother as they crossed Mascher Street near Lehigh Avenue around 7 p.m. on April 13th. Man Arrested Smuggling Cigarettes; Revel Owner Can Terminate Leases; Women Discovered in Schuylkill

A man from New York City was arrested last week and charged with smuggling cigarettes in Delaware. 25-year-old Mugahid Tahir Al Ghazali was stopped for speeding on state Route 1 south of Odessa. Authorities uncovered 394 cartons of untaxed cigarettes inside Al Ghazali's rental vehicle that they say were obtained in Virginia. He was charged with possession of untaxed cigarettes and attempting to evade Delaware excise tax. He was released after posting $5,500 bond.

Lower Makefield Township Police are seeking the public's help in locating a missing person from the Yardley area. 88-year-old Francis McDonald went missing late Sunday night from the 1000 block of River Road in Yardley, near the areas of Slate Hill Development and Maccelsfield Park. McDonald has dementia. He was last seen wearing a striped polo shirt, blue pants, and a tan jacket. He is not from the area and does not have access to any vehicles.

Tebow To Sign With The Eagles, New PA State Budget, FDA Approves New Heart Valve Procedure

Tim Tebow is in town now and is expected to sign a one year deal with the Eagles Monday afternoon. The last time Tebow played football in the NFL was in a 2013 preseason game with the New England Patriots. Tebow was a first round draft pick in 2010, and last played a regular season game in 2012 with the New York Jets. Tebow won the Heisman trophy in 2007.

The Philadelphia Eagles reportedly have reached an agreement with QB Tim Tebow. He will arrive in town to sign the 1-year deal tomorrow, Monday. The 27-year-old Tebow will join the Eagles as the 4th quarterback on the depth chart behind Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez, and Matt Barkley in time for the start of off-season workouts. A freshman St. Joseph's Prep football player collapsed Saturday morning during spring workouts and died. 15-year-old Ryan Gillyard from Upper Darby was at the school's practice field at Cecil B. Moore Avenue and 11th Street when he suddenly collapsed shortly after warmups. He was taken by ambulance to Temple University Hospital where he died. Philadelphia Police are 'certain' that they have recovered the car that killed a 2-year-old boy and injured his mother in a hit-and-run accident in Kensington this week. Philadelphia Police shot a man they say was armed with two guns late Thursday night in the Frankford section of the city. Officers were responding to a call of shots fired just before midnight and found a large crowd gathered along the 1600 block of Pratt Street, near the Frankford Transportation Center. A judge has upheld charges against three people accused of beating a gay couple in Center City last year. Philip Williams of Warminster; Kevin Harrigan of Warrington; and Kathryn Knott of Southampton (pictured) were walking in a group of about a dozen people in September when they encountered the two victims near 16th and Chancellor Streets.
