A Philadelphia Councilwoman is hosting an expungement clinic tonight in Germantown for those with a criminal past who are looking for a better future. Cindy Bass is hosting the clinic at Triumph Baptist Church from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The workshop is meant to help those with a less than spotless past get the opportunity to have a brighter future. 22-year-old Kymere Corbin of Philadelphia was arraigned today on on weapons and assault charges. He is accused of shooting his father, 42-year-old Elbert Corbin, Jr., while traveling in a car on the Schuylkill Expressway on Tuesday evening. It happened around 5:45 pm on I-76 westbound in West Conshohocken. A South Philadelphia teenager has been missing since Sunday and police are hoping you can help locate her. Sixteen year old Christina Huff was last seen Sunday at 7th and South Streets at about 5 pm. Pennsylvania State Police say a 22-year-old man allegedly shot his father while inside a car on the Schuylkill Expressway westbound in West Conshohocken Borough, around 5:45pm yesterday. A family of three was traveling in a Buick Lacrosse and the son, who was seated in rear of the vehicle, allegedly shot his father, the driver, in the head. Philadelphia Police released a new image and video of the van believed to be involved in the kidnapping and torture of a Jeweler's Row employee over the weekend. On Saturday afternoon just before 4 pm, the 53-year-old woman was taken by three men after leaving work at the National Watch and Diamond Company. A man has been charged after Philadelphia Police discovered the body of a female buried behind a Frankford home 2 weeks ago. 30-year-old Jeffrey Bowen has been arrested for murder. At 11:30 a.m. on March 24 police responded to the rear of a residence on the 4700 block of Frankford Avenue. They discovered the body of 39-year-old Kelly Hepft buried in a shallow grave and wrapped in plastic bags. Police in Montgomery County are investigating a double shooting after two men were found with gunshot wounds in a gas station parking lot Monday night. Two wounded victims were found in the parking lot of a Lukoil gas station on the 600 block of Ridge Avenue in Conshohocken around 9:00 last night. The victims were transported to Mercy Suburban Hospital. Police are trying to determine if the shooting occurred there or at another location.

Singer Billie Holiday was born 100 years ago today in West Philadelphia. She was inducted into the Apollo Theater Hall of Fame last night, and boasts a statute in Baltimore. There's now an effort to get the city of Philadelphia to honor its native daughter. Billie Holiday was born Eleanora Fagan at Philadelphia General Hospital on April 7, 1915. A woman allegedly abducted from a parking garage near Jewelers Row is recovering from injuries she sustained during her ordeal. The 53 year old victim says she was abducted Saturday night by three men in a van who bound her wrists, ankles, and shot her with a Taser. She says they wanted the access codes to the safe where she worked which she did not know. The eventually dropped her off in a Darby Borough cemetery.
