Philadelphia Police are on the hunt for three suspects after a woman was kidnapped, beaten, brutalized, robbed, and eventually dumped in a cemetery. The 53-year-old victim left her work at the National Watch and Diamond Company on Jeweler's Row in Center City around 4:00 pm and was walking across the street to the parking garage when a burgundy cargo van pulled up and she was grabbed. He contends that police were abusing their power and profiling him and that their reasons for pulling him over were bogus. Funeral services will be held today for Nicole Rhoads Peppelman who was killed on Tuesday by her husband Christopher at their home in Lower Moreland. Services will be held at the Bryn Athyn Cathedral at 4 PM. You will also be able to view a live stream of the services here or on the church's website. Special Music will begin at 3:30 p.m. A gathering will be held immediately following the service at the Society Building. Children are welcome.

A federal civil jury in Philadelphia has awarded a University of Pennsylvania doctoral candidate $80,000 for his arrest in 2011 by city police while observing an Occupy Philadelphia protest for his dissertation.
