Police found the body of a Gloucester Township woman today who had been reported missing since last Friday, December 5th and charged a suspect with her murder. The body of 59-year-old Susan Johnson was discovered in a wooded area in Evesham Township near Willow Ridge Park. 30-year-old Miguel Angel Diaz has been charged with first degree murder. A man is dead after losing control of his car and crashing into a wall in Southwest Philadelphia near Lindbergh Boulevard and Grays Avenue in the city's Kingsessing neighborhood. The car was speeding eastbound along the 5100 block of Grays Avenue and drove through a red light when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a wall of a nearby business. A Philadelphia judge found a man guilty today of first degree murder in the shooting death of an off-duty police officer. Judge Jeffrey Minehart ruled in the non-jury trial that 25-year-old Rafael Jones was guilty of the attempted robbery and murder of 40-year-old Officer Moses Walker Jr in August 2012. Jimmy Rollins has been traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Rollins, 36, played 15 straight seasons with the Phillies winning a National League MVP award in 2007 and a World Series Championship in 2008. Investigators were searching the Schuylkill River and nearby canal this afternoon after they received new video related to the disappearance of college student Shane Montgomery. The video from Christie's nail salon shows Shane after he left Kildare's bar early on Thanksgiving morning. A Philadelphia firefighter died this morning while fighting a fire in the city's West Oak Lane section. 36-year-old Philadelphia firefighter Joyce Craig-Lewis was a decorated 11-year veteran and the first female firefighter killed in the line of duty in the long history of the Philadelphia Fire Department (est. 1871 org. 1736).
