Philadelphia Northwest Division Detectives and the FBI have released new video in the investigation into the kidnapping of a 22-year-old Philadelphia woman on Sunday night from a street in Germantown. There is growing controversy over bright red signs in the windows of some Philadelphia retail stores that say "Do Not Enter with Mask or Hoodie" (pictured). The signs are an attempt to curtail robberies. However, opponents say they are a form of racial profiling. The signs were introduced by a Mount Airy-based businessman who started to sell them two years ago to help stem the tide of holdups.

Trick-or-treaters found a razor blade in a wrapped piece of candy in Montgomery County on Halloween night. The blade was discovered in a candy bar after a night of trick-or-treating door-to-door in the area of Woodlawn Drive and Walnut Lane in Towamencin Township Friday night.
