State police say two troopers have suffered injuries while searching for the fugitive suspected of ambushing a northeastern Pennsylvania barracks. Trooper Connie Devens says a Medivac helicopter has been requested for two troopers following an accident Wednesday night. She says the injuries are non-life threatening. The investigation continues into the accidental shooting of a Pennsylvania State trooper at a Montgomery County training facility on Tuesday. 26-year-old Trooper David Kedra was shot in the chest yesterday afternoon by a police firearms instructor during a training exercise. Pennsylvania's candidates for governor faced off in a debate this morning in Philadelphia. Governor Tom Corbett and Democratic challenger Tom Wolf met at the CBS broadcast center for an hour long debate moderated by Larry Kane. The roundtable discussion format gave the candidates an opportunity to discuss the issues without the usual time limit restraints. Education, pensions, taxes, unemployment and fracking led the topic list.

Officials are hoping that the new tax will bring in tens of millions of dollars in 'new' money for the budget weary Philadelphia School District. Pennsylvania State Police say a State Trooper has died following an accidental shooting at a gun range at the Montgomery County Public Safety Training Campus in Conshohocken. State Police say the trooper, David Kedra from the Skippack barracks, was fatally wounded after being shot in the chest during a training exercise. Trooper Kedra, was 26 years old.

State Police searching for a man accused of ambushing troopers outside their barracks earlier this month have found two pipe bombs in the Pennsylvania woods on Tuesday. Lt. Col. George Bivens said the bombs were not deployed but were fully functional with trip wires and fuses and capable of significant damage. 31-year-old Eric Frein has been on the run since killing one trooper and wounded another outside the Blooming Grove barracks on September 12th. The NFL has another issue to deal with after last night’s Kansas City Chiefs victory over the New England Patriots. In the 4th quarter, Chiefs safety Hussain Abdullah intercepted a Tom Brady pass and returned it for a touchdown. Abdullah, who is a Muslim, dropped to his knees in prayer (pictured). Card data of Supervalu and Albertsons shoppers may be at risk in another hack. In late August or early September, malicious software was installed on networks that process credit and debit card transactions at some of their stores. Albertsons said the malware may have captured data including account numbers, card expiration dates and the names of cardholders at stores in more than a dozen states including Acme Markets in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Former Philadelphia sportscaster Don Tollefson pled guilty in court today to stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars and deceiving hundreds of people in a fraud scam that ripped off charities and sports fans. Prosecutors in Bucks County Court presented more than 200 individual victims who were bilked out of $317,000. Nobody will confuse Market Street East with Times Square in New York, but bright lights will bring video billboards to the area. The Lit Brothers building on Market Street between 7th and 8th (pictured) will be fitted with digital billboards on the roof. Stadium-like wraparound LED boards will extend 14 feet above the roofline and should be completed in the next three months.
