Ocean City, Maryland Police have charged two men in the slaying of a Pennsylvania man. Officers found 37-year-old Justin Daniel Cancelliere of North Whitehall, Pennsylvania, unconscious in the parking lot of a hotel early Sunday. Police say he was assaulted during an altercation near Talbot Street and Baltimore Avenue. Cancelliere died of his injuries Sunday at Atlantic General Hospital. Philadelphia Police have arrested and charged a man in connection with the execution-style shooting deaths of two women in a Mayfair home. 25-year-old James Mears is charged with two counts of murder, robbery and other related offenses. 67-year-old Dollie Evans and 59-year-old Ruby Thomas were found inside Evans' home on the 4700 block of Vista Street in Northeast Philadelphia before 6 p.m. Saturday. The man who shot and killed another man last week for allegedly trying to break into his truck has been charged with murder. 56-year-old Brian Baur was arrested for the murder of 30-year-old Richard Hull of Maple Shade, New Jersey who was found at the scene on the 4500 block of Torresdale Avenue with multiple gunshot wounds. Baur was waiting when police arrived and admitted he had shot Hull.

Taney Dragons Parade Plans, Darby Bullet Fire, Later School Start Times

The City of Philadelphia has announced plans to celebrate the Taney Dragons for becoming the third best little league team in the nation. The sweethearts of the summer will be honored with a parade kicking off at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. The party starts at 20th and Market Streets, before a parade will make its way east on Market, and then south on Broad Street down to FDR Park. A Philadelphia man has been charged with murder after shooting another man that he thought was breaking into his truck. It happened after 10 p.m. on Thursday, August 21st on the 4500 block of Torresdale Avenue in Frankford. Police responded to a call of a man with a gun. 56-year-old Brian Baur was waiting for police. Whole Foods Evacuated; Active Shooter at Fort Lee; Bethlehem Musikfest Changes After Violence

For the second time this month, shoppers and employees were evacuated from the Whole Foods store in Plymouth Meeting. Yesterday a suspicious package was found in the store around 1 pm. Police were called to the scene and evacuated Whole Foods and several surrounding stores for about 90 minutes. On August 8th, the same store was evacuated because of a bomb threat.

Police are investigating a shooting that took place Sunday night in the Olney section of the city. This happened just before 9:30 p.m. on the 700 block of East Olney Avenue. A 30-year-old man was shot once in the stomach and taken to Einstein Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition. Police have not released any information yet on possible motives or suspects.

The northbound lanes of I-495 in Wilmington, DE reopened Saturday ahead of schedule. After a stress test by DelDOT, the all clear was given and lanes were open to traffic around 3:15 pm Saturday afternoon. I-495 around Wilmington was closed on June 2nd after tilting in the support columns of the bridge over the Christiana River was discovered. A dirt pile near the bridge was blamed for damage. A man is in critical condition after being shot in his home in Germantown Friday night. The incident happened around 9:00 p.m. Friday in the 5700 block of McMahon Avenue. The 45-year-old man was shot once in the stomach by his 78-year-old mother. He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center. It is believed that he may have fired at her first and she was returning fire. The mother was taken into custody. Police continue to investigate.

Police say 21 people were injured when a SEPTA bus and a Pepsi truck collided along 611 in Montgomery County this afternoon. The Pepsi truck rear-ended the inbound Route 55 SEPTA bus near Old York Road and Meetinghouse Road in Cheltenham at around 3:45 p.m. The bus was headed towards Olney from the Willow Grove/Doylestown area.
