Six protestors were arrested at a demonstration in front of the Comcast Center in Center City Monday evening. The demonstration started at the Union League at 4 p.m., but protesters marched to the Comcast Center to call on Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett to reverse cuts to the education budget. Corbett was attending a fundraiser inside with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. The Walmart truck driver who crashed his rig into the back of a limo bus carrying comedian Tracy Morgan and 6 others hadn't slept for at least 24 hours. 35-year-old Kevin Roper of Jonesboro, GA, did not see the slow moving traffic ahead of him until the last minute. His truck hit the limo bus which caused it to flip. Four other vehicles were also involved. Morgan and two others are still in critical condition and remain hospitalized. Jon Bon Jovi made a surprise visit to the lemonade stand of a New Jersey boy with inoperable brain cancer. Mario Carpino (pictured) has had brain tumors since age 4 and decided to raise money for cancer victims by selling lemonade. Mario's two heroes are Padre Pio and Jersey rocker Bon Jovi. Mario created a Facebook page and asked Bon Jovi to come to his Alex's Lemonade Stand at the Woolwich Fire Department.

Monsignor Logrip Reinstated, Philadelphia Burger Brawl, 26th Annual Pride Parade

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has reinstated a priest that was one of 26 priests suspended following 2011's grand jury report into the sexual abuse of children in the church. Archbishop Charles Chaput has decided that 67-year-old Monsignor Joseph Logrip is suitable for ministry, citing "unsubstantiated allegations that he sexually abused minors over 20-years ago." Actor and Comedian Tracy Morgan is in critical condition after a six vehicle accident on the New Jersey Turnpike early Saturday morning. The accident happened at 1:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the Turnpike near mile 72 in Cranbury, NJ. It involved two tractor-trailers, a limo bus, an SUV, and two passenger cars. The City of Philadelphia formally submitted its bid to host the Democratic National Convention in 2016. Friday was the deadline for cities to file their bids with the DNC. A Bucks County doctor has been arrested on charges of owning and distributing child pornography. 36-year-old Quentin Parker of Levittown was arrested on Thursday. An undercover investigation led Penndel Borough police to Parker. He was caught transmitted numerous images and videos of 9-13 year old females engaging in sex acts from April 19th to June 3rd. Seventy years ago today, American and allied forces stormed the beaches in Normandy, France. President Obama was in France this morning with world leaders to mark the 70th anniversary of D-Day, the turning point in World War II. Delaware Governor Jack Markell joined DelDOT officials to check out the I-495 bridge closure which is shutdown because of tilting support columns. Once he came back, he announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation has approved $2 million in emergency relief funds for this bridge. Four sets of support columns on the I-495 bridge in Wilmington are tilting. One pier so bad that the top is two feet out of line with the bottom. Two men are under arrest after a bank robbery in Havertown, PA this afternoon. It happened just before 2pm Thursday at the Santander Bank branch at 130 North Eagle Road in the Manoa Shopping Center. The men implied they were carrying a weapon. After the robbery, the men fled the bank and into the neighborhood. They were quickly apprehended, but Linwood Elementary was put on lockdown temporarily.
