Diner en Blanc, an impromptu dinner soiree by way of Paris, is coming to Philadelphia for a third year. The pop-up al fresco event is set to return for 2014, and the wait list officially opened Tuesday. The 2014 date is set to be released in June, but the location of the event will remain a secret until the day of the dinner. Last year, thousands signed up for the all-white dinner party, which eventually happened at JFK Bridge at 30th Street.

Three Teens ID'd in Pleasantville Crash; 5000 Lose Power Center City; $10 Counterfeit Couple Arrest

Police have identified the three teenagers who died yesterday when a car crashed into a New Jersey Transit Bus in Pleasantville, Atlantic County. Tevin Campbell, 18, of Absecon, Kira Strider, 14, of Pleasantville and Amber Fernandez, 16, of Pleasantville were all passengers in the car. Campbell and Strider were pronounced dead at the scene. Bensalem Black Bear Killed, Pothole Repair, Jersey Shore Crowded Memorial Day

The black bear spotted roaming Bensalem has been killed, euthanized early Monday after being found with a broken leg. The bear was found in the woods behind Nifty Fifties injured after possibly being hit by a car or truck but no one has reported having done so. Game officers say the bear, which had previously been tagged, probably made its way from the Poconos searching for new territory.

Pleasantville NJ Bus Crash, Haddington Police Shooting, NJ Gun Laws

A collision between a car and a bus in Pleasantville, New Jersey Monday afternoon claimed the lives of two people and injured at least eight others. The NJ Transit bus was headed from Atlantic City to the Hamilton Mall when a car carrying six people jumped the median and hit the bus head-on. Witnesses say the car was speeding. Pleasantville Police say two people in the car, one of them the driver, were killed and the other four passengers were taken to the hospital.

Just as everyone heads to the shore to start the Memorial Day Weekend, disaster struck on the Garden State Parkway. At 2:30 this afternoon a construction dump truck went off the southbound Parkway's Great Egg Harbor Bridge and into the water near the Somers Point Toll Plaza in Cape May County. Same-sex marriages begin today in Pennsylvania. The three day wait period since the ban was lifted makes today the big day for hundreds of couples who raced for marriage licenses as soon as the ruling came down. At one minute after midnight on the steps of the Art Museum, Philadelphia's first same sex wedding took place. Adoptees in New Jersey are a step closer to getting access to their birth records. The state Assembly on Thursday voted to approve a conditional veto settlement that was brokered by Gov. Chris Christie and lawmakers that would open the records for the first time since they were sealed in 1940. The compromise delays access for nearly three years to give birth parents time to have their names removed from birth certificates.

Severe thunderstorms pounded the area this afternoon. Frequent lighting and golf-ball sized hail stones caused widespread damage. Hail shattered car windows and windshields as well as some skylights at local malls, especially up in Berks County near Reading. Storms left the ground covered in hail 1-2” in diameter in some cases as if it snowed. There were also reports of a possible tornado in Kent County, Delaware.

A Catholic School principal in Bucks County has pulled an invitation to an Oscars themed graduation dance because it featured a photo of this year's Oscar host, Ellen DeGeneres. Apparently it has nothing to do with using Ellen's likeness without permission. Nancy Matteo, the principal at St. Andrew Elementary said she is withdrawing and destroying the invitations because Ellen "lives her life outside the teachings of the Catholic Church."
