Deadly Roosevelt Blvd Crash, Hugh Douglas Pleads Not Guilty, Liberty Bell Bomb Threat Man Acquitted

Police are investigating a deadly crash on the Roosevelt Boulevard last night. The two vehicles involved may have been racing and both had a baby in the car. A female passenger in one of the cars was pregnant and was still in the car when it burst into flames. She is dead. A man in that car was able to get a baby out of a car seat before the fire.

Pearl Jam opened a two night stop in Philly last night at the Wells Fargo Center. Eddie Vedder, wearing a black ROCKY t-shirt, led the band through a high energy three hour set totaling 34 songs. The more familiar hits weren't included, in favor of the more fan fave album tracks, plus songs from the new release, Lightning Bolt. Pearl Jam plays the Wells Fargo Center again tonight.

Body Found Under Tarp Ruled Suicide; Math Teacher in NV Shot; Amtrak/NJ Transit Service Resumes

Bucks County officials have determined that a decomposed body found under a tarp over the weekend died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The body was found in a wooded area under a tarp near an abandoned industrial park on M-Y Lane in Morrisville. It was discovered by a man walking on a trail around 4 p.m. Saturday. The Bucks County coroner said that body was a man around 40-50 years old. The coroner ruled the death a suicide and that he died from a single shot to the head. The... Read More

Same sex marriage became legal in New Jersey at the stroke of midnight. The first legal gay marriage happened at 12:01 am when Joanne Schailey and Beth Asaro said their vows in a Lambertville court room. The two have been together for 27 years. Governor Christie also dropped his appeal on the state court's order that made way for the marriages starting today.

The annual October Orionid Meteor Shower is set to peak tonight across the Philadelphia region's skies. Tonight's forecast is for clear skies and cool temperatures making perfect weather to catch the meteors streaking across the sky. One year ago today 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale was murdered in her Clayton, NJ neighborhood. Today, family, friends, and the community gathered to honor her memory. Little Ease Park on East Avenue has been renamed and dedicated to her honor. Pasquale's grandmother lives on the street and remember spending many hours with Autumn in the park over the years. Mayor Nutter and over 100 others went over the edge yesterday, descending the side of a 31-story high-rise on a rope for charity. Local celebrities and dignitaries who were able to raise at least $2000 received a lesson then donned a helmet and harness before leaning backward over the side of the building. A man wanted on a pair of aggravated assault warrants was shot by U.S. Marshals as he tried to avoid capture at a Penn's Landing restaurant. U.S. Marshals were staked out around the parking lot of the Chart House, waiting for Eugene Dykes to arrive at the restaurant to drop his girlfriend off for a night of work.
