The Excessive Heat Warning continues across our area through Saturday night. The heat index was well over 100 today. Three roofers in Delaware County, PA, had to be taken to the hospital today and treated for heatstroke. They were laying tar on the roof of Chichester Middle School when one of them collapsed. A 57-year-old West Oak Lane man was found dead in his home today, the first confirmed heat related death. There was a box fan and an air conditioner, but it was not in use. Officially the... Traffic was shut down in both directions on the Atlantic City Expressway yesterday evening after a minivan overturned ejecting its passengers on the roadway. The accident happened in the westbound lane in Winslow Township. Ten passengers in the van were treated at Cooper University Hospital, six of them children. The cause of the crash is being investigated.

The two drivers involved in Tuesday night's deadly accident on Roosevelt Boulevard will face serious charges. A mother and her three young sons were stuck and killed on the Roosevelt Boulevard Tuesday night. Joseph Patrick Franzone, Jr., 35, of Bridgeport, Montgomery County was arraigned today on one charge of theft. He is accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of checks and cash from a weeding reception at the William Penn Inn in Gwynedd on July 7th. However, this doesn't seem to be his first time. A young Philadelphia mother and three of her sons were killed crossing the Roosevelt Boulevard at 2nd Street late last night when a car ran into the family. The 27 year old mother was pushing a stroller with her four children when they were struck by a 22 year old driving an Audi. The driver stopped and agreed to a blood test. The mother, 1 year old, 9 month old and 4 year old are dead. The 5 year old son is hospitalized and stable.

Authorities are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery in Bellmawr Tuesday afternoon. Investigators say the suspect entered the Fulton Bank on the 300 block of Browning Road and passed a teller a note demanding money. He fled on foot with cash. The suspect is described as a male between 25 to 30-years-old, about six-feet tall, with a slim build.

Police are investigating the death of a 4-year-old girl from Southwest Philadelphia. The girl arrived at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia at around 2:45 am this morning and was pronounced dead. She had bruising on her body and bleeding from her ears. There was also evidence that she was sexually assaulted. Parents are being warned about a website where users chat anonymously with strangers. Parents of a Radnor 12 year old contacted police after their child was coaxed to send nude pictures online. The site is Omegle and randomly pairs users in one-on-one chat rooms. Police are trying to get the word out to parents that sites like Omegle are frequented by predators and may not be safe for young users.

One person is dead following a shooting in North Philadelphia Monday night. The incident happened at the 2000 block of N. Lambert Street. A man in his 30s was shot twice in the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.

A car crashed through a home in Northeast Philadelphia Monday night. The incident happened at Frankford Avenue and Welsh Road in the Holmesburg section. Officials say the building is vacant. Medics are evaluating the driver at this time.Read More

A pair of Dave Matthews Band fans ended up having quite a unique experience this past weekend on their way to see the band play a show at Hershey Park on Saturday night. Emily Kraus and her boyfriend were driving to see the show on Saturday afternoon when they noticed a bicyclist stranded with a flat tire on the side of the road. They turned around to help.
