Man Arrested after SEPTA Attack (Video); Woman Was Beaten and Thrown on Tracks

SEPTA Police announced an arrest of a suspect in an attack on a train platform Tuesday. They also released surveillance video of the viscous attack. It occurred after 3 pm on the Northbound platform of the Broad Ridge-Spur station in Chinatown. The man asked the woman to borrow a lighter. Moments later he lunged at her and began to beat her. He then grabbed her by the ankles and dragged he across the platform before tossing her onto the tracks. He made off with her cell phone.

The investigation into a fire at a Bensalem business is underway. An electrician was working on an electrical panel box inside the Adams Carpet in Bensalem when an explosion occurred, where he was engulfed in flames and ran towards the front of the store. He was flown to Temple Burn Center and is in extremely critical condition with burns on over 80% of his body.

Missing Autistic Teen Chelsea Ramsey-Jones of Philadelphia

Philadelphia Police are asking for the public's help to find a teenage girl who went missing this week. 14-year-old Chelsea Ramsey-Jones was reported missing on Monday, January 14th when she failed to return home from school from Barry Elementary School. She lives on the 100 block of N. 60th Street. She is considered an "endangered" missing child.

Today, Thursday January 17th, Southwest Detectives were informed that Chelsea is autistic and is cognitively impaired.

And thanks to open internet flight tracking technology, some fans followed his flight in real time in anticipation of the coach’s arrival. Mayor Nutter on Wednesday delivered what he calls his "final offer" to the largest city worker union, District Council 33. The union rejected the proposal, prompting Nutter to declare that the talks are deadlocked. It offers no retro pay, and 2.5% wage hikes from the date of ratification through July 2014, calls for changes in the union’s health care and pension plans, and allows for furloughs. 13-year-old Autumn Lemon has been found by New Castle County police. The girl was missing since Tuesday afternoon. The last time a neighbor saw her she was leaving her home alone carrying a black duffel bag. She was reported missing Tuesday at 4:25 in the afternoon. Police say she is in good condition.

The man who found 5-year-old Nailla Robinson will receive the $10,000 reward offered by police. 27-year-old Nelson Mandela Myers was on his way to work when he heard the girl's screams. He found her under the sliding board, cold, wet and wearing only a t-shirt. Myers wrapped his coat around her and called 911. Nelson Mandela Myers is the father a 5-year-old himself and says he was just doing what he would want someone else to do if it were his child.
