| New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy announced on Friday, 8/14, that New Jersey will conduct the November 3rd general election mostly through the mail. All registered voters will receive a prepaid return-postage ballot in the mail. Ballots can be returned by mail as long as they are postmarked November 3 and are received by November 10. | A South Philadelphia woman has been charged in the death of a teenager whose decomposing body was found in her home earlier this year. 26-year-old Maddison Leidy has been charged with drug delivery resulting in death. | The Philadelphia Public League has suspended all interscholastic athletic competition until January 1, 2021. That includes the entire School District of Philadelphia. The decision was made after Governor Wolf recommended last week that K-12 and recreational sports be postponed until January 1st.
